MEET ED

Edward LeCompte is a dedicated and experienced professional with a strong family ties and background in construction inspection, code enforcement, and surveying. He has served multiple terms on the Red Bank City Commission and worked for the City of Chattanooga for over 40 years, starting with the Department of Economic and Community Development in January 1978. Edward has held various positions within the department, including Construction Inspector, Code Enforcement and Survey Party Chief, demonstrating his versatility and commitment to public service.

Throughout his career, Edward has continuously pursued professional development, holds a Special Police Commission for the City of Chattanooga, and has been honored for his 35 years of service to the city. Edward is also a Tennessee Hand-Gun Carry Permit holder, further demonstrating his dedication to safety and responsibility

His extensive experience, commitment to professional development, and dedication to public service and proven track record of success in various roles within the Department of Economic and Community Development will undoubtedly be an asset to the city as he continues to serve its residents and businesses of District 10 in Tennessee.
